2024-2025 Republican base rises

Despite the efforts of the entrenched operatives of a faction of the Party, the Base was effectively organized to defeat the "chosen" candidate to secure an overwhelming vistory at the endorsement convention in May, 2024.  Despite persistent efforts of those who seek to control the selection of candidates, in an unprecedented victory, the candidate of the People handily won the primary in August, 2024. Royce White received more votes than any Republican who has faced Amy Klobuchar.  This Base victory will influence political strategy in Republican campaigns for many election cycles to come.

True Trump loyalists across Minnesota worked outside the established Trump Team to attempt to ensure a Trump Victory in MN. These volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure signs were delivered, calls were made and voters turned out to vote.  These Trump Republicans fought the "Chasing Ballots" theory because they know that early voting means early counting and early counting allows Democrats to use large donors to manipulate absentee ballot board voting in many questionable ways

Despite the INCESSANT narrative that MN is a Blue State, the TRUTH cannot be denied: In every election since 2008, MN is becoming MORE RED. Minnesota is clearly moving away from the progressive DFL towards the common-sense principles that heloed build the United States into the GREATEST COUNTRY ON EARTH.  The media across Minnesota, our schools at every level and far too many government funded organizations have been revealed as misleading voters about policy and about what is really happening in MN.

At the December, 2024 State Central Meeting the Delegates voted to not reelect David Hann. Delegates and Alternates began 2025 hoping for a clear change in the administrative approach to governing the Party.  The jury is still out on whether current leaders will begin to respect the rules of the Party. The next State Central Committee Meeting is currently scheduled for September. Delegates will be hosting informational zooms in July and August to ensure the Party is prepared for 2026!! The State Central Committee MUST provide oversight of the State Executive Committee- which is ADMINISTRATIVE. State Exec Reps MUST answer to the State Central Delegates. State Central Delegates should be demanding the MNGOP begin active efforts to win in 2026. MN republicans are TIRED OF LOSING!

After 3 years of MNGOP/ CD7 interference and improper removals of the OTC elected delegates and alternates, in violation of the Party Constitution, the OTC Delegates became truly educated about their rights. At the OTC and CD7 Conventions, the delegates voted to seat all the 2024 BPOU delegates and almost all of the Delegates to the CD7 Convention.  The BPOU Convention voted unanimously to overrule the Chair's efforts to prevent elections of Delegates to the CD7 COnvention.

In an unprecedented vote, the CD7 Convention refused to approve the credentials report that would have illegally allowed the seating of 2022 delegates at the convention.  While EVERY 2024 OTC Delegate should have been seated, the Convention was forced to accept a compromise that allowed 7 delegates to be seated illegally. The seating of these illegal delegates ultimately led to the reelection of the deputy chair, who continues to lead her followers to violate the Party's governing documents in an effort to undermine the new CD Chair. It is past time to Make CD7 Ethical Again.

Despite the clear rules about the requirement that Party units endorse/support the Party's endorsed candidates, there was a flood of establishment opposition and attaacks against  those candidates supported by The People. The House Republican Campagn Committee ignored multiple endorsements across Minnesota to protect unpopular representatives who failed to receive support of local voters.

 While true Trump loyalists across Minnesota attempted to rally to support Trump, many of his most ardent backers were excluded from campaign teams, forced to buy lawn signs and generally treated like the unwanted relatives visiting over the holidays.  There remains a belief among the base that Trump was intentionally undermined in Minnesota.

Perhaps our CD reps should focus on the candidates in their own districts and stop interfering with the elections in districts in which they can not vote. 

At the December, 2024 State Central Meeting the Delegates voted to not reelect David Hann. The nominations committee again attempted to manipulate the histories of wonderful patriots while lifting up candidates who attack the base. The RNC Committee Woman warned Delegates it would be DIRE if Hann was not reelected. Did she know that the Hann Team would have ALL Party emails deleted and wipe all computers back to factory settings, leaving the Party with NO history?

After the SCC Delegates elected a new Chair who encouraged Republicans that he would stand up for the Base and the principles of the Republlican Party, it soon became clear that the MN Congressional delegation was, at best, not encouraging the Donor base to contribute to the Party and in the worst case scenario, was encouraging those donors to withhold support from the Party in an effort to influence the actions of the new administration.

Once again, in a clear and frantic effort to protect a congressional rep who may use the R on the ballot but doesn't present as a PRINCIPLED Republican, the CD 7 Executive Board, in cooperation with the members of the Hann Team who remain on the State Executive Board, AGAIN interfered with the seating of the Otter Tail County Delegates.
