The rules of the convention required adjournment at 6pm.
Any motion to suspend the Rules Needed 1467 Ayes
The State Convention meeting ended in CHAOS
After Jensen received the endorsement, Delegates were told to turn in their clickers as they left.
The Rules required adjournment at 6pm- attendees believed the meeting ended.
After many of those present had left, there was a frantic push to re-open/resume the meeting.
The Minutes do NOT reflect any debate occurred, the question was called or that a vote was taken to suspend the rules to extend the meeting- likely because there is NO POSSIBLE WAY 1467 people were still present.
At 17:59 The minutes suggest the report was forwarded as a block and debate ensued. THERE IS NO MENTION OF A MOTION OR A SECOND, THERE IS NO MOTION TO CALL THE QUESTION.
At 18:11 the minutes indicate the amendments passed as a block on a majority vote. Again- it is unlikely there was even 750 people in the hall- people had left the building.
At 18:52, there was a motion to certify an affiliate: The Convention has NO AUTHORITY to certify an affiliate.
EVERYTHING THAT OCCURRED AFTER 6PM WAS IMPROPER AS THE MEETING HAD ENDED.
