State central committee did not reaffirm affiliates in 2022

Proposed Changes to Constitution allowed 2 year review

STATE CENTRAL has the SOLE AUTHORITY to Approve or Reaffirm Affiliates

The Party Officers and their committee appointees created hard deadlines and attempted to prevent the Delegates from discussing concerns about affiliates using BLOCK VOTING. In response, the delegates amended the rules to both force each affiliate to be votes on individually AND to require a secret ballot on each vote.

Because of the hard deadline, imposed in the planning of the SCC Meeting, time expired and the Delegates refused to amend the rules.

The Result: NO Affiliate was voted on by the SCC in May 2022.

This is language proposed by the Constitution Committee and voted on AFTER Rule 40 Adjournment.
